Junior Magazine and Location of the week.

UK Photographer David Handley with agency Jackie Gibbs in London, Photographed an Editorial for Junior Magazine with Bigsky Productions. http://www.jackiegibbs.com/launch/

Rob Parker was David’s right hand man, Jet Vervest from Amsterdam was the stylist/art director and was integral to the shoots success, as was Monique Tacon on Hair & Make Up. Werner from PondoPictures shot this behind the scenes video. The shoot was a lot of fun as you can see from the video. For best viewing. Push Play and then Pause and let the clip load before pushing play again. See some of the final images below.

The location and models were crucial to this shoot’s success and Bigsky drew on their location database and model agency relationships to find David the farm and cast he envisioned. Have a look at some of the location images of this unique farm not more than 20 min from Cape Town City centre. Also feautured below are some of David’s amazing images. One of the many advantages of shooting in Cape Town is that hundreds of international models flock to its shores in the summer following the photo season. This means clients save on having to fly out cast from Europe.

Zest Magazine used the local talent during their latest beauty and fashion shoot (using over 15 models). Above Madelein from Zero Models in Cape Town (click here to see her full book) poses for the Spa Beauty story, photographed by Paris based Hugh Arnold. Click here for portfolio and website.

Bigsky Productions has links to all of the top Cape Town Model Agencies to browse simply click HERE and the agencies are randomly listed. By clicking on them you will be taken straight to their homepages . Enjoy.

Audi showcases Cape Town’s quirks.

AUDI NEW A4

Bigsky Productions in conjunction with Contra Service produced the Audi Corporate Campaign. The campaign focussed on three cities around the globe, namely Montreal, Sydney and Cape Town. It showcased the new Audi A4 in the 3 locations and highlighted the unusual quirky intrinsic qualities of each destination.

A jet lagged Photographer Sorin Morar did a superb job and executed the brief to perfection (click here to see his website). Cape Town’s quirks included the prevailing South Easterly wind (which is fondly termed the Cape Doctor), the working harbour, Cape Point wildlife (our friends the baboons) and some parts of the city bowl.

Below our friends the baboons take a fancy to the Audi, and make sure wipers and side-view mirrors are positioned correctly.
