Cape Town Production and Shooting in AutumnLate April and May is a special time in Cape Town things are a lot quieter than the busy season months of December January and March. The weather is very mild and although not as consistent the light seems to loose that high contrast look that is attributed to Cape Town, giving a nice soft Autumn feel which is good for our Northern Hemisphere clients who want to make the pictures look more European . Here are some of the shots and some of the behind the scenes shots from Bigsky Production’s last shoot with Belgium Agency Morris & Chapman. Have a look at this promotional video of some images that appear in one of our photographers book that has just been launched. Its called African Goal and can be purchased by following this link click here. Remember you need sound to watch clip. SEA FIVE: CAPE TOWN SHOOT & STAYWhen it comes to accommodation for your production team in Cape Town we, at Bigsky Productions, thought we had seen it all. Then came Sea Five. Situated just 300m from South Africa’s most glamorous beach, Camps Bay, Sea Five offers seven beautiful en-suite rooms with clear, sweeping mountain and sea views. This spectacular example of accommmodation in the Western Cape is more than just a beach house. Sea Five is a stunning connection of Mediterranean and Southern Africa. You can look forward to 100% pure Italian linen sheets, waking up to the scent of fresh bread and croissants and the harmony of a garden redolent with mandarin, lemon, lavender and rosemary. Perhaps you’d like a coctail by the pool? Sea Five provides the ultimate in luxury at an extraodinarily decent rate. For larger production teams, it is the perfect place to stay - and you can shoot there, should your production call for a location of such perfection. SPOT IS AN HMI HAZARD
